On the Road Again and in Front of the Camera!

I confess I'm feeling very proud of myself after a very busy Saturday. I got a last minute booking through to do a 90th Birthday party in the village of Great Totham which if you know your geography isn't far from Chelmsford in Essex. I had another job in the evening in Ealing so it was full systems go. Come Saturday morning I was a little worried I might have mis-calculated time but as it turned out everything went like clock work and I got to each job in plenty of time with no hitches - phew! The M25 is in a dreadful state at the mo so I planned my journeys very carefully and it really payed off . I think my Gardein Angel must have been watching over me making sure I didn't make any mistakes as a wrong turn can sometimes cost you dear time wise!
My first show was a 1940s glamour one for a lovely gentleman who was enjoying his 90th Birthday. I only wish I could have stayed longer but I had to dash and make it to Ealing for the No One Club. I did a real mix bag of songs for Ealing from the 1940s to the 70s and finished off with Thank-you for the Music - You can't really go wrong with Abba!
Today I have been doing a WW2 women's uniform photo shoot as I felt some of my photos could do with a freshen up. Another one of my jobs will be to look at my WW2 page on my web-site and give it a bit of a re-vamp. I also need to add in my new GI Jive show which will take me up to 11 x 1940s costume shows available. Gosh do I really have that many - I surprise myself sometimes!
Of course it wont be long now before the new 1920s and 30s page goes up so do keep watching I'm really looking forward to seeing it!
Tomorrow I have a show and then I'm off on Tuesday to Bath for a holiday so can't wait as I really need a break. I've been working very hard and it will be lovely to go somewhere and not have to sing for my supper!
Well I shall sign off now. Thank-you for following and Toodle Pip!
